What A Mapping Means

A mapping tells GTMOne where to read a particular piece of information. For example, the deal owner mapping identifies the property that stores the responsible owner. It does not ask you to select individual records.

When To Keep The Suggestion

Keep the suggested standard HubSpot field when that is where your team records the information. Change it only when your company uses a different field for the same purpose.

  1. Open Settings and the CRM mapping or relevant domain settings.
  2. Review the suggested property.
  3. If needed, choose the matching property from the dropdown.
  4. Save the change before starting an assessment.

Do Not Choose A Field Just To Clear A Warning

The field must represent the intended information and use a compatible value type. A notes field mentioning an owner is not equivalent to an owner property. A last-modified date is not necessarily the date a lead qualified.

How Changes Affect Results

Saved mapping changes apply to new assessments. Existing reports retain the settings and evidence saved for their own run. When comparing results, check whether a mapping or threshold changed.
